Baby rompers with funny text
A baby romper with text is a personal gift for a new baby, and one that parents often keep long after their child has outgrown it. At Almost Summer we design and print our rompers ourselves, in our workshop in the Jordaan in Amsterdam. Each romper costs 20 euros and comes in sizes 0-3 up to 18-24 months.
Funny baby rompers for parents
Our rompers have a short line of text on the front. At the moment these are "All my friends are artists", "What's the wifi password", "My parents went to art school" and "Party my crib". The texts are mostly meant for the parents and the people around them, which makes them a good fit for visiting new parents or a baby shower. Not every text is available in every size.
Organic cotton baby clothes
A romper sits directly on a baby's skin all day. That is why we make our rompers from certified organic cotton, like many of our T-shirts. Organic cotton is grown without chemical pesticides and feels soft. The "All my friends are artists" romper is off-white.
Choosing the right baby romper size
If you are unsure about the size, it is better to go one size up. Babies grow quickly in their first year, so a 6-9 month romper will be worn for longer than a 3-6 month one. For a newborn gift, 3-6 months is often a good choice, because parents usually already have the smallest sizes.
Putting together a baby gift
If you want to give more than a romper, you can pair it with something for the parents. Our tote bags cost 22 euros and, like the rompers, are designed and printed in Amsterdam, most of them in organic cotton. A tote is useful for everything parents carry around with them, and you can hand over the romper inside it.

You can order our rompers online, and you can also find them in our two shops in the Jordaan. The Mini Factory at Eerste Bloemdwarsstraat 14 is open Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 18:00; this is also where our prints are made. Our shop at Nieuwe Leliestraat 6 is open every day from 11:00 to 18:00.
